P is for Perplexed!!

I have been trying so hard how to do the simplest of tasks on the computer and after three trips to the Genius Bar, I'm (sadly) no further along.

I'm not giving up! One of these days it's got to pay off. Right?

So... Is something perplexing you? I promise, I will pray.

I don't understand twitter. I'm not on it, but I do sometimes check to see what other people (writers, agents, editors) are up to. I don't understand #these, or this: RT, or any of it. Most of all, I don't understand how people can tweet, like, 25-50 times a DAY! Do they ever look up at the real world around them?

This isn't something that needs prayer - it's just perplexing to me!

Yes, like Daisy I'm perplexed by folks who eat, sleep and drink twitter. It's odd. Perhaps they need prayer.

Personally, so much perplexes me that I can't begin to narrow it down. This includes anything technological. Sometimes life's perplexities (I think that's a word, not sure) evoke laughter. For that, I'm grateful.

Daisy! I know!! I have a twitter account, but am not sure what it's purpose is in life... hmmm.
For me it's the iphoto thing... therein the lack of pictures on my site. I love beautiful photography and would love to express myself through photographs...

Robyn, you made me laugh!! Thank you so much for that. So needed!!!

So, I guess I'm going to try to keep breathing.. :)

I'm on Twitter, as well, and generally understand it but hate having to be on it. What happened to the good old days when I could write a blog and be done for the day?

I'm another person perplexed by Twitter--and Facebook, for that matter. Also, Google+. I just can't get into the whole social networking thing, though I do (of course) enjoy blogging.

What is the Genius Bar? I obviously don't know about it because I fall short of genius. Keep blogging!

Hi Jessica!! I will follow you on Twitter! The problem is, I don't check it that often... eeks!

Golden E. You are a superb blogger. As the saying goes "find what you love and do it..." or something like that. :)

Hi Diane! The Genius Bar... oxymoronic or just moronic?? is the Apple store. You can sign up for workshops that are supposed to help you get computer literate... it probably works for most people... So happy to have you stop by!!

Hi Cheryl! Thanks for explaining the genius bar. That was something I'd not heard of before.

Hey Susanne!! Yes! The Genius Bar/Apple Store allows for great teaching sessions. It's a wonderful feature and the people are so patient! If anyone can get me there- it would be these guys. :)

Google+ and Facebook baffle me.
I am on Twitter, but use it mainly for writing-related chit-chat and to announce the posting of a new blog post.
There are folks who sit on Twitter the entire day... I don't know how they manage to do so and still find time to get on with normal daily living and the countless responsibilities that go with it...

Computers are very temperamental... I just don't have the touch with them but thankfully my husband is in very good terms with them, so he's always helping me. =)
