J is for Juicer

If my juicer were an animated character,  it would be an out of work deejay with an attitude.  I bought it in a moment of after Christmas clearance sale weakness.  And now it lives underneath the counter in a cabinet with the plastic containers without lids and visa versa- a veritable lonely hearts club of misfit kitchen clutter.

I was a push over at the thought of all the lovely live enzymes giving me a healthy youthful glow... makes me want to get it out and give it a whirl.  What I do know is that just having a juicer does me no good unless I use it.  So... will I overcome my fear of juicing and reap the happy rewards?  Or will Mr. J. make his lonely way to the Goodwill, where another unsuspecting sod will be seduced by his promises???

Is there something in your life that you are not using?

Hahahahaha hmm... no... I think I'm using everything I own right now. But then, I don't have my own house to fill with useless clutter. :-D

I love your "Lonely hearts club!" So funny! I use most of my gadgets - my blender, my air-popper, my mixer. I do have a food processor that never sees the light of day - might need to go with your Juicer to the Goodwill!

I use most everything I have. I don't have a juicer, though, and I wish I had one.

Hi Misha... Good for you!! I need to stream line my life about now... Glad you stopped by!

Thanks Daisy! :) I was inspired by The Brave Little Toaster... an animated film from 1987.

Hi Sonia! Kudos for using most of your stuff! Thank you for the visit!

Yes, there are several things I am not using but they are of the make -up kind, I bought them at a weak moment when temptation controlled me ;)

Ha ha haaaa. Your juicer and mine should get to know one another. Hubby steams me when he reminds me of what I said when I "wasted" our money on that thing. "I'll make fresh juice for you and the kids everyday and we'll never be sick either!" I love that last sentence. Too funny!

An out of work DJ...that's good. I have a ???(don't know what it's called but you put meat in it for days on end and you get jerky for your efforts). Such a silly appliance if you ask me. It's sitting on a shelf next to the broken foot soaker/massager. Why do I keep them?
