If I had a Facebook page, I would list my status right now as: Scraping up the brown bits of my life. Even before I knew that those little brown bits that remained after browning meat were a fundamental in sauce making, I liked how they tasted. I'll eat anything, practically.

But back to my life. I feel like the brown bits of the economy and how it has affected my family and me, the political situation in the country and perimenopause have all left tiny pieces of my heart all around me. Some things are good, some not. I just need to know what to do with it all.
So that's my status.
